Mid month reveals are up on the Scrap the Boys blog. We have a gorgeous mood board challenge this month, which is perfect for capturing all of your boy's fun adventures.
I used the colours as well as some of the images from the mood board to inspire my choices for this layout of my son exploring the tree tops at a recent fishing trip.
I used a dream catcher sticker from the Simple Stories 'I Am' collection as the focal point above my title, then punched out a few feather shapes to go down the page.
Taking from the mood board I used several arrows, and repeated a triangle pattern turned on it's side to go with the direction of the arrows. I embossed the kraft cardstock using the triangles and also used the same pattern with a stencil for the background and on the mint coloured paper. The ink I used on the mint paper made the triangles a bit too vibrant, so I used a sheet of vellum to tone it down.
Check out the first reveals for the challenge here, and don't forget to upload your layouts by the end of the month for a chance to win this month's prizes!
