I've made a start on my 2015 project life album and happy to have completed week one using the awesome
Hey Girl Daily Diary kit from NoelMigon.com.
I absolutely love the fun patterns and colours in this kit and have shared close-ups and details about the various elements over on the
NoelMigon Blog, so head to the blog if you'd like more details.
Before I began this year's album I spent a bit of time organising all my supplies in my new Ikea,
Kallax shelving unit which I shared on
this post.
I purchased the drawer and door options for this unit and have used a variety of clear containers and baskets to keep my supplies organised. The black and white fabric cubes are from Target, and the white baskets were found at Woolworths.
My favourite storage solution are these photo storage cases - they come with 12 individual cases designed to hold 4x6" photos but I have used mine to store all my project life cards and co-ordinating pieces as well as one case dedicated to various paper tags and embellishments sorted by colour.
I purchased mine from Lincraft but have also seen them available online under the name 'Iris Photo Storage'.
I am also using a few containers with divided compartments to store washi tapes, flairs and paperclips and one just for wood veneers. I found the bottom two in the hardware section of Kmart but also bought the top one from the storage section at Bunnings.
I have filled one of my fabric storage cubes with clear A4 file cases (found in some supermarkets & office supply stores) and am using these to hold various stickers, enamel dots as well as a few for my cutting dies which I have placed onto magnetic sheets.
I had such a great response to the post and had a lot of questions about what else I have stored in my shelving unit so thought I would share a couple more pics.
I have sorted my pocket page protectors by design in D ring albums and have used another album to store my masks and stencils.
I am using one of my CTMH storage cases to store various inks and mists, and a larger one to hold all my clear stamps and embossing folders (sorted in Avery Elle storage pockets)
It feels great to be a bit more organised and it's really saving me a lot of time when I want to find a particular product.
