New projects and my new toy....

I have finished my final project for Blue Bazaar's Mixed Media challenge. The theme for this month was to use fabric, and I decided to do a layout using this cute printed t-shirt I scored at Tightrope for just $3 (I got one to wear too LOL :) I stiched the t-shirt onto some chipboard and embellished it with these glittery reeds I created and added shimmery fabric leaves and sequins, then layered some tulle for the photo mat - it's a lot more sparkly in real life!
In other news... I got an email saying I've had another layout accepted for publishing - I'm feeling on a bit of a roll :) and speaking of published work I have two layouts in the Aussie reader gallery of Creating Keepsakes magazine this month!!

I'm loving this little bag with matching gift tag I learned to make in one of 123 Scrapbook's free classes - it was surprisingly easy to make and I can see myself making some versions for Christmas.
And after having 'bug' envy for so long now, I finally have my very own Cuttlebug!!! I got a selection of folders to try out and have been embossing anything and everything for the past few days and I just love the Nestabilities dies and can't wait to actually make something with it all.

Aga.........that mixed media work is fantastic. You are just too clever.
Congrats on your latest publication - there's no stopping you now.

You've definately got the "bug" - good for you. I lashed out earlier this year too - so unlike me to do such a thing but I just love it and use it a lot.

Thanks for joining in my treasure hunt - you're the winner. Yay!!!!!

Dont forget me sketch too.

Luv Sandie
