Time for this week's catch up...

I finally finished and posted the Christmas cards I signed up to make to help raise funds for Christmas hampers for struggling families, organised by Monk on the Blue Bazaar forum.
I've gone for a pretty simple design so it would be easy to replicate and I like how they have turned out.

I've also stamped the back of each card with this cute little stamp I got from BB.

An Award...
I'm very happy to have been given a blog award from the very talented Sandie who is the busiest blogger I've ever known ;)
The Rules are :-1. The winner may put the logo on their blog.2. Put a link to the person who sent you the award.3. Nominate 5 blogs.4. Put links to their blogs.5. Leave a message for your nominees.
And now comes the hard part.... because there are so many wonderful blogs I love to visit, but his time I'm passing the award on to: Carole, Naomi, Renee D, Skye, Edleen, Wendy and Sue-Ann. I know I was meant to only choose 5, but some rules are just meant to be broken :)

And speaking of Sandie... here is another Chrissy card I made for her weekly blog sketch.
I came up with the idea of creating my own varnished accents by coating paper cut-outs with nail polish - and I've got to say it turned out great! But while its perfect to use on cards, I do not recommend using the accents on your layouts. I got this shade at the clearance section at the chemist and love the shimmery finish.I also got some of Sandie's handmade goodness when a pack of her gorgeous daisies that I'd won on her blog arrived in the mail this week. To get some daisies of your very own be sure to check out Sandie's blog. and I've been tagged....
By the lovely Lauren :) Here are some fact you may not know about me:
1. When I grew up I wanted to be a lawyer - which may explain why I watch Law & Order re-runs late at night while I scrap ;)
2. I have been speaking Polish all my life, but only learnt to read/write the language about a year ago, with the help of a translation dictionary when I began contact with my dad who lives there.
3. Before I had kids, I use to do I use to do catwalk and photographic modelling and promotions.
4. I have a bit of a hoarding problem, and have a garage full of stuff I can't bear to part with.
5. I suffer from allergies all year round, and carry tissues with me where ever I go.
6. I think I know the words to every Prince song ever written :)
And now Lis, Maxine, Renee, Rebecca, Ness and Sar I want to know 6 things about you!

And last but not least, a DT layout for Click 'n' Scrap using beads and the gorgeous BG Urban Prairie range -perfect for this cute photo of little Miya!
Have a great weekend
